Is it you?

Recently there is a song that I like to listen to. It's titled "Is it you" by Cassie. The song is an original soundtrack of Step 2. I really love it because it's easy listening and the lyric is somehow connected to me and to every girl in their 20ies, i guess.

You can read the full lyric below and see whether it connects to you or not.

"Is it you"

I'm looking for a lover not a friend
Somebody who can be there when I need someone to talk to
I'm looking for someone who won't pretend
Somebody not afraid to say
The way they feel about you

And I'm looking for someone who understands
How I feel
Someone who can keep it real
And who knows the way
The way I like to have it my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there
Wants to share
Shows he cares
Thinkin' you're the one that I've been waiting for

Is it you? Is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

I'm looking for someone to share my pain
Someone who I can run to
Who will stay with me when it rains
Someone who I can cry with through the night
Someone who I can trust whose heart is right
And I'm looking for someone

And I'm looking for someone who understands
How I feel
Someone who can keep it real
And who knows the way
The way I like to have it my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there
Wants to share
Shows he cares
Thinking you're the one that I've been waiting for

Take for granted how much I care (how much I care)
Appreciates that I'm there
Someone who listens
And someone I can call who isn't afraid of love to share

A deadlock

Whenever you are stuck on a deadlock,
try to search a way out
If you can't find one,
crash the wall then make your own door.
There is no rule
in the battle against yourself.

The maze is only exist in your perception. Free your mind from the knot.

Mbek's Wedding Day

Today is my best friend's wedding, Friska a.k.a mbek. I've known her since I was eleven and we were classmates for 6 years. Thanks God we still have a good friendship until now. She is a midwifery and now is a lecturer in one of health schools in our town. She is cheerful and friendly. That's why she has a lot of friends.

Get married is a dream of every girl in this planet and get married with a balinese christian man is what she has been wished for her entire life. God listens, gives his bless today, and brings her dream into a reality.

Happy wedding my dear...
May happiness around your marriage..

Eat Well, Seminyak, Bali

Me and my boyfriend enjoy culinary so much. Since today is his birthday, we decided to celebrate it at a restaurant named Eat Well. The resto is located in Seminyak, Kuta.

Eat Well, Seminyak

Me and the butter rice and the chocolate ice

My boyfriend!
We order butter rice, pork steak with honey, chicken steak, lime juice and chocolate ice. We both like the food. They are just perfect for our tongues! I will give score 4 out of 5 for them. Really want to go there next time with my whole family or best friends.

These are some delicious pictures from me to make you drool!

Happy Birthday, dear Omenk!

Today is October 20th and today is the birthday of my special one!

I had a plan to congratulate him at 12.00 am, but then my alarm didn't ring and I just fell asleep until the morning. I know it later that my alarm was set at 12.00 pm. Stupid me!

To celebrate his birthday, I ordered cupcakes that were specially designed for him. I chose his most favorite football club as the theme. He likes Manchester United so much! He is also a huge fan of Vespa. That's why I decided to buy a glow-in-the dark bedcover with vespa pattern on it. I bought the bed cover about 2 months ago and wrapped it up last month. I'm the kind of prepared and perfectionist-girl so I can get panic easily if I have nothing to prepare beforehand. You can see our moments on his birthday below!

Special cupcakes for my special one. He loves Manchester United so much!

I hope you like it

Wrapped by myself, kinda proud!

The birthday boy and his gift

What's inside the gift?

Look at his mouth! His expression everytime he is focused on a thing.

"I'm too busy to open the wrapping paper. No time for taking picture!", he said.

So excited to open his birthday present!

Up left corner: birthday cake from his friends; the rest are from me! :)

Tu Mas & Tu Alit's Wedding - Upacara Mepamit

Warung Jeruk Manis, Bali

12.00. Time to LUNCH!

Today I spend my lunch with my one and only boyfriend at Warung Jeruk Manis or Warung Jerman, Renon.

My menu is Tipat Campur Ayam and Es Daluman. Just like another Balinese food, Tipat Campur Ayam is riched of spices and very spicy for me. I just can't stop drinking. Meanwhile, its Es Daluman is tasteless. I cannot taste the sweteness of brown sugar. My rate for the food is 2 out of 5.

Ah, sudahlah berpikir sederhana saja.

Sunday Afternoon

I love the beach.
I love the sand.
I love the sunset.
I love the sound of the waves.

I love how we spend our sunday afternoon.
I love walking along the beach with you, barefoot and holding hands.
I love eating those springrolls and laughing because we have a different appetite.
I love the fact that I've found someone who I want to spend the rest of my life with.

I love it, our lovely sunday afternoon.

A Simple Life

Some people live for the fortune.
Some people live just for the fame.
Some people live for the power.
Some people live just to play the game.
(If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys)
What do you live for? What do I live for?
Happiness? Money? Fame? Wealth? Knowledge?

We have our own goals. We have our own paths. And we have our own destinies.
All I know my friend, the journey is tough. You might stumble, fall, cry, fail, and surrender. Or you can choose to stand, fight, cope, survive, then win.

Whatever happens in your life, do not lose hope and be strong.
Live simply. Give more. Expect less.

One question.

When I'm alone, all of that random thoughts attack me...

One question is suddenly running inside my head.
What if we only had three seconds left in our life?
I think, I would spend my last three seconds to say...
I love you,Thank you,and I'm sorry....
How about you? What would you do?

Taman Nusa, Bali

Let's pack some food, water, sun glasses, hat, and then we are ready !!!
Go go go !!!

Today we are going to the cultural park of Taman Nusa. It is located in Gianyar, Bali. It takes around 1 hour and a half to get there from my house. Me and my boyfriend are very excited because we haven't been there before.

Taman Nusa is a new tourism object in Bali. It is a park where you can see the cultures of Indonesia's various ethnic groups. There are mini size of Borobudur Temple, Indonesia's Chinatown, traditional houses from each province in Indonesia, a bronze figure of Gajah Mada, and bronze figures of Indonesia's first president and vice president. I think the idea is similar with Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta. You can find more informations about Taman Nusa here.

Here are some beautiful pictures in Taman Nusa...

Welcome to Indonesia

Hello, Shinkansen!

It is unusual for me taking a train, even in my own country. I'm living in Bali and we don't use train here. When I spent my 5 year of uni in East Java, I took the train only once from Surabaya to Malang. Let's count it as almost never.

So here I go lucky enough to have a wonderful holiday in Japan. And for the first time I take the famous Shinkansen. I've heard a lot about it, one of the fastest trains on earth and the world's busiest high-speed train.

To cut the accommodation budget, I spend my nights for 2 weeks at my aunt's house in Tokyo. And my trip always starts from the house. I spend the holiday with my brother and my cousin. According to the itinerary arranged by my brother, our furthest trip in a day will be Tokyo to Hiroshima. The distance between Tokyo and Hiroshima is approximately 674.4 km. And it only takes around 5 hours from Tokyo to Hiroshima with Shinkansen. AH-MA-ZING, isn't it?

Thanks to Shinkansen, It is possible to do such a far trip in one day!
